Wilco - Bull Black Nova

I just commented on a Wilco post by Fred that I was only so-so on the new Wilco album so far. But I wrote it as this song was playing and it did grab my attention.

I like quiet, acoustic Wilco as much as anybody. It’s hard to beat Jeff Tweedy’s voice accompanied by an acoustic guitar. But Wilco is one of our genuinely creative, avant-garde bands and they are at their best when they’re ripping stuff apart and putting it back together. Like all of YHF … and like this song.

I also loved Sky Blue Sky. Nels Cline was a key addition to the band. But with this new album it’s not obvious by listening if Cline is back in the lineup. I did a quick web search but couldn’t find out. Anybody know?
