James Vincent McMorrow - We Don’t Eat (Special Edition) Hmm. Testing embedding from Rdio but I don’t like it. If you’re a logged-in Rdio user you can play the full song, but if you’re not it’s only a preview. Might make sense for Rdio’s customer acquisition but it’s a no-go as a method for me to share music on Tumblr.

The Antlers - Two / Epilogue - A Take Away Show One of the most heartbreaking songs you’ll ever hear (even more so in the content of the album). And yes, I’m whiling away an hour or so going through old Take Away Shows.

Low Anthem - This God Damned House (A Take Away Show) These guys are so brilliant! With rush hour upon us we moved to a place where we had more control. I brought the band to Pier 66 on the Hudson River where a surprisingly unlocked Lackawanna Railway car sits vacant. Here, more instruments were brought out: clarinets and horns, a portable organ, a harmonium, and cell phones that called each...

The Avett Brothers - One Too Many Mornings (Bob Dylan) Brilliant! Like Mark Olson & Gary Louris, two voices that were meant to be together. This song is from the upcoming 4 disc Dylan tribute, Chimes of Freedom. Hat tip to Music vs Misery.
